Need
someone to lead music for your state-wide youth gathering? How about need for a
keynote speaker? How about two for the price of one? Shawn can do one, the
other, or both! He has led music for several national youth gatherings of both
the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church, and ELCA, as well as countless
statewide youth gatherings in MI, OH, PA, NY, NH, CT, NC, SC, FL, IL, WI, MN, IA
and ND!
Plus, Shawn has served as a headlining musician at Youth Encounter Quakes and
Congresses since 1995. Shawn has also been seen keynoting at many of
the above events using personal stories of faith, humor, scripture, and song to
drive home the powerful message of God’s saving grace through faith in Jesus
Christ.
 Shawn
tailors his music and message to fit an event’s theme, and usually lends his
time to perform a concert, a late-night acoustic “campfire”, and lead music and
worship, in large groups or small, wherever needed at the event. Shawn's sound
is a unique blend of electronic and acoustic instruments. He combines vocals,
acoustic guitar, keyboards and percussion. From rock to folk to praise, Shawn's
wide musical range offers the flexibility to take advantage of ministry
opportunities not only in the concert setting, but also at mass gathering times,
as well as traditional and contemporary worship services. Shawn is also willing
and able to lead youth or adults in a variety of workshop topics, including:
Secular vs. Christian music, Compassion Int’l child sponsorship, Global Workcrew
Mission Trips, Local Servant Events, Tithing Ten Percent, Songwriting, Computers
and Multimedia, and Youth Ministry.
Since Shawn is indeed a one-man-band, he is able to fly to anywhere in the
country to be with you and your youth. A true professional, and “relational
guru”, Shawn truly cherishes the long-term opportunity to be with youth in a
retreat or gathering setting.
